ATOMY Evening care 4 set may just be the luxury facial skin care you need if you want to improve the quality of your skin without breaking the bank.
I never was a fan of skin care products because I have sensitive skin and I tend to get rashes when I use too much products on my skin. So it's surprising that I am writing a sort-of review on it.
My skin was quite low maintenance, but factors like ageing and sleep deprivation made it dull and lifeless in the long run. My upline gave me her set a couple of years ago so I could try it.
I heard ATOMY is a reputable Korean brand whose products are created with the most advanced biotechnology on the global market. Their products undergo intensive research from a reliable team of experts in KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute).
To put it simply, I trust that ATOMY creates safe products and it was a bonus that they also use herbal ingredients in their skin care.
Perhaps, it's about time that I try some pampering for myself 💗

What's in the box?
The set contains the following skin care products:
- Deep cleanser 150ml
- Foam cleanser 150ml
- Peeling gel 120ml
- Peel-off mask 120ml
For someone not familiar with this area, my first question was, why this many and what were each of them for?
Deep Cleanser
Have you ever heard of the famous Korean beauty skin care regime "double cleanse?"
Well, what this means is that you wash your face first with an oil based cleanser and then washing a second time using a foam cleanser.
The first step to this evening skin care is to massage the deep cleanser onto your dry face. This dissolves makeup and impurities on the skin while massaging promotes blood circulation on the face.
But even if you don't wear makeup, it is still advantageous to start off your regime with deep cleanser to melt away the bonds that keep dirt and debris stuck in the pores. It gently sweeps away bacteria at the same time infusing the skin with its beneficial nutrients.
The result? Skin regeneration for a moist and glossy skin.
Speaking of beneficial nutrients, ATOMY's deep cleanser contains the following ingredients:
- Gginseng extract and gingko extract keep dull skin looking hydrated and firm
- Green tea extract helps skin look clean and clear
- Carrot extract and tocopherol acetate help retain skin elasticity and nutrition and add a healthy glow to your skin
Also, if your skin leans more on the dry side, deep cleanser is a better option because oil-based cleansers such as this one, replenish (not remove) moisture levels.
Foam Cleanser
After dissolving the makeup (or sunscreen) and breaking down the impurities on the skin, wash your face with tepid water and continue cleansing with Foam Cleanser.
Work a small amount of the cleanser with a little bit of water into a rich lather to remove impurities that's been dissolved by the deep cleanser. It works on the surface of the skin to remove the sebum in pores and any residue.
Your double cleanse is complete! This particular cleanser has bonus ingredients that's absorbed by the skin:
- Phellinus linteus prevent tightening of skin after wash
- Linteus rice extracts nourish skin
Rice extract is a famous ingredient in most k-beauty products because of its benefits such as soothing and toning the skin and sometimes even improving different skin conditions.
Peeling Gel
ATOMY's peeling gel exfoliates and prepares the skin for better absorption of nutrients so that the skin is ready for toner and moisturiser.
This peeling gel is like any other peeling gel on the market except that it is 100 times cheaper. I'm not kidding!
My first encounter of peeling gels was 4 years ago, way before I had my baby and had concerns about my skin. I went to M Dreams in Sydney so I could use my $100 voucher for a pair of Melissa shoes (LOVE!)
On my way back to the train station, I was sidetracked by a couple of sales reps for a high-end skin care brand. One of the girls applied some gel on one of my cheeks and afterwards, massaged the skin.
A few seconds after, she showed my tiny little balls on her fingers. She explained that these were dead skin cells and that side of my cheek looked clearer than the other. That was my first taste of exfoliation via peeling gel 😄
It came in this tiny tub that fit perfectly in her hand and the cost was close to $200! They even offered installment pay plans but I walked out the shop faster than a lightning hehehe. Nah! I won't spend that much on a beauty product. As I've said, I'm not a fan of skin care.
So it's a gift that ATOMY came up with this product and sells it for a fraction of the price (AU$16.01 or less if you're a member).
ATOMY Peeling Gel has components that softly absorb and remove skin wastes during massage and also provides moisture and nutrients to make skin smooth and moist after washing.
- Elm root extract and water-soluble moisture element gently remove dead skin cell and make dull skin radiant.
- Citrus grandis peel extract helps to eliminate excess sebum and softens sensitive skin.
Just be cautious not to use this more than needed because this is an exfoliator. Once a week for me is fine, and I have a normal skin (but more on the dry condition).
You can use it every other day of 3 times a week but just be careful not to overdo it or it may damage your skin's natural barrier and cause irritation.
Peel-off Mask
Last but not least in the set is the peel-off mask. This product is supposed to lock in the nutrients that have been absorbed by the skin a little bit more so it's preferable that you use this after you have applied your favourite toner and/or moisturiser.
It's consistency is like that of a glue. It can be messy to apply so I suggest you use a silicon mask applicator, such as this one from Kmart.

The ingredients that help cleanse pores and give skin the appearance of elasticity and firmness are:
- Amethyst powder for clearing clogged pores
- Centella extract for elasticity and firmness
- Jade powder for blood circulation and refining of the skin's surface
Five-Star Luxury Skin Care Set ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overall, I am giving ATOMY Evening Care 4 Set a rating of 5 stars. It has become a staple in our house actually. Even my girls who are aged 13 and 11 use this set. Not all of it, but their skin definitely likes the Foam Cleanser (because at their age, their skin is very oily).
It's also very economical to use, especially the Foam Cleanser. A pea-sized amount plus a few drops of water is more than enough to make a rich lather. But I tend to use a little bit more Deep Cleanser though. It's just so soothing to massage on your face.
Sometimes, I accidentally leave it on longer than I intend to. But the ingredients are so mild and as a result, I don't get rashes or harsh reactions whatsoever.
My favourite is the Peeling Gel though. After using it, my cheeks look glossy and rosy. I just don't use it very often even though I crave for the glass-skin look most of the times hehe. I have to control myself and fight the urge hehehe.
My least favourite is the Peel-Off Mask though just because it's a little bit messy and takes longer time to apply. I am not used to spending minutes or even hours for some people just for a skin care regime. And I guess that's another thing I like about the Evening Care Set - it doesn't eat up a lot of your time.
For best results, you can also add Spirulina on your Peel-Off Mask and leave it on overnight. I tried this once but I woke up with a tight feeling on my skin. It felt dry but only because I didn't use toner or moisturiser before I left it on. Meaning there was nothing much that the mask was trying to keep inside my skin.
My upline does this 2 times a week and she never had any problem. Her skin actually looks younger than mine even though she's 9 years my senior. 😊
Some final notes:
- You might use more of one skin care product than the other so they won't run out at the same time. No problem though, ATOMY sells this in set or each product on its own.
- Even though it is called "Evening" Care 4-Set, you can definitely use this for your morning routine too. I do! But usually just the Deep Cleanser.
- Before putting on the Peel-Off Mask, I use Derma Real Cica Set for toning and moisturising.
